This milk cream separator is primarily used in the milk processing industry for continuous separation of cream and defatted milk from pure milk, while simultaneously removing impurities and sediments. It enables milk standardization based on fat content and can separate extremely small solid particles (less than 1mm) dispersed in suspensions.

Clarification involves two-phase separation. Materials are fed into the machine's bowl interior where, under strong centrifugal force, impurities are removed from raw material to produce clean milk.

The disc separator specializes in two-phase and three-phase separation. Two-phase separation separates suspended solids from liquid or separates two immiscible liquids with different specific gravity. Three-phase separation simultaneously separates two immiscible liquid phases and a solid phase.
